Made for Monstera, Alocasia, Philodendron, Anthurium, Hoya, Syngonium and rare aroids.

WELL DRAINING, NEVER SOGGY: Big bark chunks, pumice and lava rock open up air pockets so water drains fast and roots can breathe. This well draining potting soil resists compaction and makes overwatering difficult, while coco coir and biochar hold just enough moisture between waterings. The drainage-to-moisture balance tropical plants need.

LIVING, NUTRIENT-RICH TROPICAL POTTING MIX: Earthworm castings, alfalfa and gypsum feed beneficial soil microbes and supply gentle, balanced nutrition. Our biochar is charged (pre-infused with nutrients), so it feeds roots from day one instead of pulling nutrients out of the soil. Pairs with Grow Queen Organic Plant Food.

PEAT FREE & PERLITE FREE: We skip peat moss and energy-intensive perlite. Instead we use naturally porous pumice and lava rock plus certified organic coco coir, washed extra times to remove salts. A cleaner, more sustainable indoor potting soil for house plants, made in small batches in the USA.

PH BALANCED FOR TROPICAL PLANT SOIL: New Zealand tree fern fiber conditions the mix and holds pH near 6.0, the slightly acidic range aroids and tropical houseplants prefer in the wild. Crafted by botanists and tested on over 500 plant species, from common houseplants to collector aroids.

Product specifications

Style

Modern

Manufacturer Part Number

Craft Aroid Soil Blend 2 Quart

Model number

Aroid Mix 2qt

Style Name

Modern

Volume

2 quarts

https://sillmend.com/products/craft-aroid-potting-mix-chunky-soil-mix-for-monstera-alocasia-philodendron-anthurium-tropical-plants-organic-well-draining-indoor-potting-soil-for-house-plants-peat-free-2-qt
