How to Use the Air Vent Valve After installation, open the water inlet valve slightly, then press the air vent valve to evacuate air. The inlet and outlet of the product must be in line with the inlet and outlet of the main pipe. 2. Install the water inlet and outlet of the product in the direction of water flow to ensure a tight seal. 5.
