Compostable Food Waste Bags 2.5 Gallon 25ct, Extra Thick

Bags that actually belong in a compost bin. The Full Circle Compostable Food Waste Bags are made from 100% corn-derived, plant-based material — certified compostable in both home and commercial systems. No microplastics. Just carbon and water when they break down. The sealed, reinforced bottom distributes weight evenly so bags hold up through 3–5 days of wet scraps, coffee grounds, and heavy food waste without tearing or leaking. Extra thick construction where it counts. Sized to fit any standard 2.5 gallon countertop compost bin, including Full Circle's own Fresh Air bins. Unscented. BPI certified to ASTM D-6400 standards — third-party verified, not self-declared. Note: some softening over time is normal and expected; that's the material doing what it's supposed to do

About this item

• SEALED BOTTOM & EXTRA THICK CONSTRUCTION: Reinforced sealed bottom distributes weight evenly to prevent tears and leaks, even with heavy, wet scraps. Extra-thick plant-based material adds durability, performing reliably for 3–5 days.
• PERFECT FIT FOR STANDARD 2.5 GALLON COUNTERTOP BINS: Fits any standard countertop compost collector, including Full Circle Fresh Air bins and most popular brands. The 2.5-gallon capacity holds 3–4 days of scraps. Unscented — no artificial fragrances.
• HOME & COMMERCIALLY COMPOSTABLE — BPI & TUV CERTIFIED: Fully breaks down in home and commercial compost systems — no microplastics, just carbon and water. BPI certified to ASTM D-6400. Note: bags naturally begin breaking down with moisture — that's composting working.
• 100% PLANT-BASED: Made from corn-derived materials that break down into carbon and water—not microplastics polluting soil and oceans.
• This product was designed by Full Circle, a New York based B-Corp that creates sustainable and thoughtfully designed home care items that are better for you, your home, and your planet.
